The desktop app brings local repositories, coding agents, an editor, and a terminal into one workspace. Use separate worktrees for tasks that need to run in parallel.
Agents run against local files. Depending on the agent you choose, code and context may be sent to its model provider.
What you get
- An editor and terminal beside your agent sessions.
- Your own coding agents, including Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and opencode.
- Git worktrees for separate branches and working directories.
- An iPhone companion in early access, with access to sessions on your running Mac.
How it fits with the cloud
Desktop and cloud use the same Veflow account. You choose where to run the work:
- Desktop: work with your local checkout, tools, and agent sessions.
- Cloud: use a hosted environment for managed tasks and supported web previews.
Your own CLI uses your provider account and no Veflow credits. Managed AI uses credits even when launched on desktop. Cloud environment hours have a separate allowance.
